Terms of Service
These terms apply to every booking with Photo Booth by Zee. Our services are provided by 15528798 CANADA INC., operating as Photo Booth by Zee (“we”, “us”).
1. Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled date, the full balance is due.
2. Cancellation by Photo Booth by Zee
If Photo Booth by Zee must cancel a booking because of an emergency, the client will receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid for that booking.
3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is available on request, as long as you contact us at least 15 days before your event date. New dates are subject to availability:
- If we’re available on your new date, we’ll move your booking to that date.
- If your booked booth is already reserved on the new date, we’ll offer you another available booth.
- If the available booth is priced higher than your original booking, you can switch to it by paying the difference.
- If no booth of the same or lower price is available, we’ll offer an alternative package or upgrade of equal value to the amount you’ve already paid.
Rescheduling does not change the Cancellation Policy above, and the deposit remains non-refundable.
4. Booking and Payment
A 50% deposit is required to book, and a booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the event. The deposit is non-refundable (see the Cancellation Policy above). We accept e-transfer, all major credit cards and online payment.
If the remaining balance is not paid on the event day, we may cancel the booking and keep the deposit.
5. Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are sent, or until the expiry date stated on the quote, if one is given.
6. Booking Length
There is no minimum booking time. Bookings are subject to our availability.
7. Setup, Teardown and Extra Time
We set up before your booked start time and take everything down after your booked time ends. Setup and teardown do not count toward your booked hours.
Extra time requested on the event day is charged at our hourly rate, confirmed with your quote, and is subject to our availability.
8. Travel Fees
A travel fee applies to the Drop-off Selfie Photobooth only. There is no travel fee for our other booths.
9. Damage to Equipment
Any damage caused to the equipment by guests will be the responsibility of the client and will be billed accordingly.
10. Guest Conduct
All guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner. Any harassment or inappropriate behaviour towards the attendants, or damage to the equipment, will result in the immediate shutdown of services without a refund.
11. Parking
Parking for the equipment and attendants will be provided by the client.
12. Setup Requirements
The client must provide sufficient space and access to power outlets for the equipment setup. The contact person should be available to assist with access and setup coordination.
13. Outdoor Events and Weather
For outdoor setups, the client must provide cover, such as a tent or canopy, that protects the equipment from rain and direct sun, along with a level surface and access to power. We may pause or relocate the booth if conditions make it unsafe to operate.
14. Equipment Failure
If equipment fails during an event, we will repair or replace it on site as quickly as possible. If service time is lost, we will make it right fairly, based on the impact on your event, for example with extra time, a credit toward a future booking or a partial refund. Our goal is your full satisfaction.
15. Supervision of Children
Children using the booth should be supervised by a parent, guardian or the event host.
16. Photos, Videos and Marketing
The client receives an online gallery within 1–7 days of the event, depending on our schedule. Photo Booth by Zee may use event photos and videos in its marketing, including our website and social media, unless the client asks us not to.
17. Gallery Retention
Online galleries stay available for 1 month after the event. Please download your photos and videos within that time, as galleries may be removed after it ends.
18. Custom Designs and Logos
By supplying logos, artwork or other materials for templates, overlays or backdrops, the client confirms they have the right to use them.
19. Insurance
Photo Booth by Zee is fully insured. A certificate of insurance is available to venues on request.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Photo Booth by Zee for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount the client paid for that booking.
The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests and for any damage they cause to the equipment, as set out in the Damage to Equipment and Guest Conduct sections above.
21. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as severe weather, power outages, government orders or natural disasters. If this affects your event, we will work with you to reschedule.
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
