How it works

How Booking a Photo Booth Works

Overview

Booking a photo booth should be the easiest part of planning your event. Here’s exactly what happens from your first message to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox, plus what we’ll need from your venue.

Step 1: Tell us about your event

Fill out our quote form, call or text +1 437 974 6999, or message us on WhatsApp. The more we know, the more accurate your quote:

  • Your date and start time
  • Your venue and city
  • Your event type and approximate guest count
  • The booth you’re interested in (or ask us to recommend one)
  • How many hours you’d like the booth running

We’ll reply with availability, a recommendation and a tailored quote.

Step 2: Reserve your date

When you’re ready, a 50% deposit secures your date, and the remaining 50% is due on the day of the event. We accept e-transfer, all major credit cards and online payment. Once your deposit is received, your booth is reserved and no one else can book it. The deposit is non-refundable, and if the event is cancelled within 14 days of the date, the full balance is due. See our Terms of Service.

Step 3: Design your experience

This is the fun part. In the weeks before your event, we’ll work with you on:

Your print template

chosen from our 100+ designs, with your names, date, logo or hashtag

Your backdrop

matched to your colours. See backdrops.

Your props

wedding, themed or custom. See add-ons.

Digital touches

overlays for the 360, start screens for the mirror, AI backgrounds and sharing screens

Logistics

venue contact, load-in time, booth placement and power

You’ll receive a template proof and a final confirmation of all the details before the day.

Step 4: Event day

We arrive early

Setup usually takes 45–60 minutes, so we time our arrival to finish before your guests walk in. Setup and takedown don’t count toward your booked hours.

We set up and test

Backdrop, lighting, booth, printer and props are all installed and tested.

We host

A friendly attendant runs the booth for your whole booking, welcoming guests, helping with props and poses, and keeping the line moving.

We pack up

When the booking ends, we take everything down and leave the space as we found it.

Step 5: Relive the memories

After the event you’ll receive an online gallery of every photo and video taken in the booth, ready to download and share with your guests. You’ll usually receive it within 1–7 days, depending on how busy we are, and it stays online for 1 month. Unless you ask us not to, we may share some event photos in our marketing.

What we need from your venue

Space

Each booth needs a clear area for the booth, the backdrop, and a short line of guests. As a guide:

Booth Approx. space needed
Mirror Photo Booth 10 x 10 ft preferred
360 Video Booth Small platform (1–4 people): 10 x 10 ft · Large platform (1–7 people): 15 x 15 ft preferred
Classic Photo Booth 8 x 10 ft preferred
Wooden Mirror Photo Booth 10 x 10 ft preferred
Drop-off Selfie Photobooth 6 x 7 ft
Audio Guest Book (add-on) A small table, next to your booth

Power

One standard power outlet near the booth. If the nearest outlet is far away, let us know.

A small table

A small or medium-sized table near the booth for the prop display.

Outdoor events

We’re happy to set up outside, as long as the booth is under a tent, canopy or covered area that protects it from rain and direct sun, on a level surface.

Access

Let us know about stairs, elevators, loading docks or parking restrictions so we can plan load-in. Parking for our equipment and attendants is provided by you, and we ask that a contact person be available to help with access and setup coordination.

Tips for a great booth experience

01.

Pick a visible spot

Near the dance floor, the bar or the main walkway works best.

02.

Open it at the right time

Cocktail hour and right after dinner are peak times.

03.

Ask your MC or DJ for a shout-out

It works every time.

04.

Share the gallery

Send the link to your guests after the event so everyone can relive the night.
